“Zur Hessischen Schweiz” is an inn with history – today a small country hotel with breakfast that we run ourselves with a lot of heart. Our rooms are furnished in country style, with wood, warm colours and loving details.
Here you won't find an anonymous hotel chain, but short paths, personal tips and simple solutions – including for guests who find stairs difficult.

Is breakfast available?
Yes, breakfast is served in-house – coffee, bread rolls, juice and eggs. Our team will tell you the current breakfast times.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
No, we are a bed & breakfast hotel. For the evening there are some good places close by – see “Area & directions”. A guest fridge, microwave and self-service shop are available for self-catering.
Is smoking allowed?
We are a non-smoking hotel – except for the conservatory of Apartment 1. You are welcome to smoke outside the entrance or in the beer garden. If you smoke in your room (even with the window open), we charge a cleaning fee of €200.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome in all rooms on request. Please let us know who is coming along when you book.
Is there Wi-Fi and somewhere to work?
Guest Wi-Fi is free, and most rooms have a desk. Printing, copying and faxing are available too.
