We – Jutta and Malte Ziegler – run our house ourselves. There is no anonymous front desk here, but an old inn full of character, country-style rooms, a good breakfast and people who care.
Whether you are working in the region during the week or exploring Kassel and North Hesse at the weekend: arriving is easy, and in the evening you'll find peace and quiet.

How does check-in work – even if I arrive late?
You receive an access code for the key box containing the front door key and your room key. That gives you access around the clock, with no opening hours to worry about.
Is breakfast available?
Yes, breakfast is served in-house – coffee, bread rolls, juice and eggs. Our team will tell you the current breakfast times.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
No, we are a bed & breakfast hotel. For the evening there are some good places close by – see “Area & directions”. A guest fridge, microwave and self-service shop are available for self-catering.
Can I park at the hotel – even with a van?
Yes. Free parking for cars and vans is right at the hotel, including 3 van spaces (2 × 8 m, 1 × 10 m) and two spaces with EV charging. Please arrange parking and charging terms with us.
Is there a bicycle garage?
Yes. We are Bett+Bike certified. Bicycles are kept in a lockable garage inside the house, motorcycles in a separate garage or the enclosed courtyard. A packed lunch for your ride is available on request.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome in all rooms on request. Please let us know who is coming along when you book.
Can my company book several rooms?
Of course – just send us a company enquiry. We also accept a cost coverage statement from your company by email or fax, provided we receive it before arrival. Otherwise we have to ask for advance payment.
Are longer stays possible?
Gladly. Apartment 2 and the guesthouse, each with its own kitchen-living room, are particularly suited to longer stays. Get in touch – we'll find a solution that suits you.
How far is it to Kassel?
We are south of Kassel in Fuldabrück-Dörnhagen. Kassel is just a few minutes' drive away, the A7 motorway about 10 minutes.
